A Demon caught a fish in the Long Island Sound
And was put on trial for stealing.
Seated in front of a jury of fellow demons and foreign angels,
he pleaded his case.
"I deserve the wonders of the world, the same as anyone else."
"We are all someone's child, just not always God's"
"The most important thing is staying fed"
It is unknown whether the judge was God or Lucifer
Mom or Mom, Mom or Dad, Dad or Dad
All I've heard, is that the demon was thrown back into the water
told that if he was hungry, he'd have food
if he was thirsty, he'd have drink
if he was lonely, he'd have fisherman
and if he was tired, he'd always have death.
When the demon drank the water, a woman appeared,
you this time-
she told him he could leave, but only if he could drink all the putrid water,
and kiss her.
He Could. He Wouldn't.
the morals of a demon are not up for discussion.
his choice on the matter remains silent.
but,
I think,
that he refused to cheat
because he didn't believe he cheated in the first place.
There's an honor to be commended.
but
I don't know.
It's just a story.
